Adult Mental Health Screening Scale

A Digital Tool for Emotional Clarity, Risk Detection & Early Care

The Adult Mental Health Screening Scale developed by the Mansik Shakti Foundation is a specialized digital assessment designed to identify mental health issues in adults across various domains of life—professional, personal, and social. It helps users understand their emotional health, detect early signs of psychological distress, and access support in a timely, private, and non-judgmental way.

This screening tool is ideal for working professionals, teachers, caregivers, community workers, and others who may not typically seek mental health help but experience ongoing stress, burnout, or emotional fatigue. It bridges the gap between inner distress and outer functionality.

What It Assesses:

The scale uses a structured battery of psychometric tests covering:

  • Work-related and personal stress
  • Coping ability and emotional resilience
  • Symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other psychiatric risks
  • Impact on daily functioning and interpersonal life
  • Level of burnout or emotional fatigue
  • Need for professional intervention

Each participant receives a personalized report that categorizes their mental health status into four levels — Green (Emotionally Balanced), Yellow (Mild Distress), Red (High Risk), and Emergency (Severe Risk).

Integrated into the Relief App

The adult screening scale is available via the Relief4MentalHealth mobile and web app, ensuring convenience, privacy, and easy access. After completing the assessment:

  • Users receive custom action steps like self-care guidance, video resources, or relaxation tools Moderate to high-risk users are linked to counselors or psychiatrists through a secure referral system
  • Users may optionally create a secure Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to track progress and consultations

Ethical, Confidential & Scalable

All responses are protected through encrypted digital storage and consent-based usage policies. The screening tool can be deployed in:

  • Workplaces
  • Teacher wellness programs
  • Community mental health drives
  • NGOs, CSR initiatives, and government health campaigns

It also integrates with India’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), making it future-ready for national scale implementation.
